For the Love of Sea Glass: A Love Story
Guy Cash Fleming is a beachcomber whose journey of self-discovery is centered on walking the beaches of New Jersey. This is his poignant story of discovery amid turbulent times as he describes how the quiet contemplation of beachcombing can be enough to save a person from the precipice. Guy had been through a devastating hurricane and loss of his house, and shortly thereafter he suffered the heartache of a broken marriage. During this time of loss, he realized that sea glass had the power to distract him from his dark thoughts. The beach became his sanctuary, allowing him to heal and put his life back together with happiness and love. Both inspirational and encouraging, this story is very relatable. Guy has included beautiful photos of treasures he’s found during his miles of beachcombing walks, making this an interesting read that beach lovers will enjoy.
Sea Glass Stories from the Beautiful New Jersey Coast
In this beautiful book, Guy takes you with him on his journeys as he shares some of the more interesting stories surrounding his beach discoveries. His writing is conversational, making it feel like you’re walking the beach alongside him while he’s telling his story. Sea Glass for Miles
Small enough to pack and bring with you, this book is a fun take on sea glass color rarity. After finding more than 150,000 pieces of sea glass, Guy Cash Fleming figures he’s walked more than 10,000 miles in the sand. He cleverly figured out how many miles you’d likely have to beachcomb before you’d discover each color of sea glass. He’s got yummy photos of amazing colors of sea glass that will have you raring to get out there searching yourself!
